Did you know the average college graduate only reads .9 books a year?? That‘s not a mis-placed decimal point.  .9 books a year.  Not even 1 whole book.

I get it – when I was in college and forced to read all those boring Humanities books, the last thing I wanted to do was pick up some non-fiction when I got home from class.  And then I started listening to guys like Jim Rohn, Brian Tracey, and Tony Robbins.  Jim Rohn says in one of his recordings: Look in any million dollar home and you’ll find a library of books.  The owners didn’t build the home and then buy the library.  They built the library and were able to buy the home.  Because knowledge creates wealth faster than ignorance.

This summer, do yourself and your future a favor and read at least 5 books on self-improvement, career development, personal finances and investing, or biographies of successful people.  It will serve a couple of purposes:

It will keep your mind sharp while all of your friends are losing brain cells and getting sunburned.
You may just read something that propels you forward faster than you can imagine, or find an idea to write about next semester.

Here are my suggestions: The Success Principles by Jack Canfield, Creating Wealth by Robert Allen, The Four-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss, How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, any biography of Walt Disney, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

it may look stupid but i dont agree with the first line,i will never say anybody smaller than me.otherwise i think this is one of the few quotes that makes sense to me.
