Believe You Have It Now

To dwell on the shortcoming and imperfections of others, or weaknesses or frailties for their derelictions, causes your lack, loss, pain, and illnesses.  Why?  Because whenever you think and feel is true about another, you are creating in your life, in your pocketbook, in your health, in your own mind, body and circumstance; ask yourself this question.  “Would I like to live with what I am thinking of the other people?”  If your answer is yes, then you are on the right track.

Remember, your thought is creative!  What you are thinking about the other you were creating in your pocketbook, life, experience and events.  What he don’t want to happen to you, don’t feel and want to happen to another.

It’s a simple, that’s the Golden Rule!

Chance and accident or not responsible for what happens in your life.  Neither, is some kind of “predestined “fate of the author of our fortune or misfortune.  Your subconscious mind is not concerned about the true or falsity of your thoughts.  It has no concern whatsoever what your conscious mind thinks.

So, select that ” which is true, noble, lovely and God-like.”  And your subconscious will bring about and can reproduce that in your experience.

The bible says, “Believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11: 14) All things you shall ask in prayer, believe to that you have it now and you shall receive it.  That’s a psychological law. Assume the mood that would be yours if the psychological desire was brought to pass, and he realized your desire.  As you do this, wonders will happen in your life.

Thomas Edison, 1878

Thomas Edison discovered, or he knew intuitively, that your voice caused sound waves in the atmosphere. He reasoned that if he could reproduce the waves or currents, he could reproduce the voice. So what did he invent with this knowledge with this idea, the phonograph.  Where did the idea come from, it came from his mind.  Edison conscious mind thought about the idea, and he turned over to a subconscious mind the brought the idea into being or into existence.

That is believing that you have it now and you shall receive it, isn’t it.  So Thomas Edison developed the phonograph.  The idea came from the subconscious mind.  The subconscious is your friend, it seeks to heal you and restore. If you cut your finger, your subconscious starts immediately to rush white blood cells in place to fight any infection that may be present, it starts of blood to too coagulate to stop any bleeding, in causes the tissues to regenerate and close the wound, and it does this does this completely without any orders from you.

Power of Imagination

A famous actor friend of mine told me one time, that at the beginning of his acting career that he felt that he was a mediocre actor. He had small roles but his career was not progressing. But then, he learned the powers of his subconscious mind. Every night he played the role of what he wanted to be in his imagination. He practiced it over and over again for fifteen minutes every night exalting the power of the Spirit within him. He created a pattern in his subconscious mind. And the nature of the subconscious being compulsive, he reached the heights in his profession. Fifteen minutes every night regularly and systematically just prior to sleep, he ran that mental movie in his mind. He was using the imagination of his mind, yes!

And he was seeing a movie premier, created in his own mind. He knew that the Power of the Almighty would back him up. And it came to Pass. I go to prepare a place for you. “I go before you to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you into myself, for where I am there will you be also.” (John 14-3) That of course is from your bible. It’s telling you the power of a disciplined imagination. Your imagination goes before you. It precedes your experience and manifestation.

A young actress who is very successful told me that every night she runs a mental movie of herself; dramatizing certain roles she wants to play. She keeps running her mental movies and experiencing these roles in her imagination. Over and over again, five to six minutes every night prior to her falling asleep, she runs her mental movie. She places a foundation under her dreams.

Its all right to build castles in the air but be sure that you put a foundation under them. The movie that she runs has played fantastic dividends, as film roles flow to her, with exciting characters she wants to play.

My nephew who is just starting his athletic career won a 100-meter race. He said he psyched himself up before the race. He imagined his family congratulating him after he won. He said he imagined himself winning and receiving congratulations from his friends. He felt a Power in the race. Something came over him, that Super Power responded to the image in his mind of victory, of triumph, of winning.

“…they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary…” (Isaiah 40: 21)

The man, who constantly fails, has an image of failure. Oh yes, you can use your imagination two ways. Of course you can use any facility two ways. The man is chronically ill or complaining or the malingerer in the army is a man with the image of ill health and weakness.

Whenever a man imagines illness or failure his subconscious creates accordingly. It has been discovered that men who constantly fail, that they have an image of failure in their mind and of course, their subconscious responds accordingly.

Have an image of success. You were born to win and succeed. Every alcoholic knows that if he uses willpower or tries to force himself to give up alcohol it drives his further to drink. Mental coercion, force or willpower won’t get you anywhere, but when you contemplate sobriety and peace of mind and imagines free and back at work, doing what he loves to do. Knowing that an almighty power is backing up his mental picture, he frees himself of the habit and he is healed.

Walt Whitman had a marvelous imagination, he said, “when the mist filled the valleys, he looked upon the mountain tops, and when the mountain and darkness disappeared, he fixed his gaze upon the stars.”
